Latest hot news is about these pests called "bed
bugs". You can easily pick them up from hotels, dorms, etc. So how do you
prevent getting bites from these little nasty pests and how do you kill them?

For small area treatment, you can use aerosol can for killing the bed bugs.
For larger area treatment, you can use gallon side insecticide (make sure that
insecticide is made for indoor use). Follow the direction and spray with
pump sprayer for larger area treatment.

How to kill the bed bugs if you are a cleaning contractor or do it yourself
cleaning?
Follow these steps:
1: Remove all bed sheets or couch, blankets, pillow cases, etc. off the bed and
these should be washed in the hot water.
2: If the area is more than a small area to treat with an aerosol can, use the
gallon size product and spray with a pump sprayer.
Spray the entire area with insecticides/for indoor use. (*** Important to: read all directions carefully
on the bottle).
Do not spray over the wood furniture or other wood items that could be damaged.
Remove all food items. For wood and delicate items, use aerosol insecticide to
prevent any water spray damage. (Do not spray any electronic items).
Spray well into the wall cracks, corners and edges. They hide between the
cracks of the walls and etc.
3: Damp wipe area (areas where you want residue to be removed) with a clean dry
towel after 5 to 10 minutes.
4: Use HEPA vacuum and vacuum entire floor and wall and pay attention to all
crevices and corners. Remove top and bottom mattresses and vacuum thoroughly
all corners and edges and floors under the bed and all furniture. After
vacuuming is done, remove the vacuum bag and dispose properly.
5: If the floor is carpeted, you should do a hot water extraction 1 to 2 hrs
later.
6: Let the carpet dry.
* Check again within few days to make sure that no eggs are hatching from the
crevices.
* To prevent further spreading, it is better to treat the entire indoor areas
of the house.
* Make sure to treat the source of the bed bugs, such as traveling bags,
clothing, etc.
** Treat again after 1 to 2 weeks, if signs indicate that some eggs have
hatched. Bed bugs incubation period is 10 days.
